Biofeedback & Stress
How Biofeedback Works
FAQ
What is Biofeedback?
When we take our temperature or step on a scale, we are utilizing simple biofeedback systems which tell us about our weight and temperature. Biofeedback provides a way to gently and non-incisively assess stress. The practitioner serves as an educator/coach, empowering clients to begin addressing necessary changes and learning new skills to restore balance and harmony in their daily lives.
The word biofeedback was coined decades ago to describe laboratory procedures being used to train experimental research subjects to alter brain activity, blood pressure, heart rate, and other bodily functions that normally are not controlled voluntarily. Clinical Biofeedback techniques that grew out of the early research are now widely used around the world for stress reduction, relaxation training, muscle reeducation, pain management, and brain wave relaxation training.

Client Testimonials
Having bought a package
deal, I’ve been drifting in
every two or three weeks
since July. During that
time we managed to
quickly quell my soda
addiction (in one visit!)
and put me on a path
to better health.
This is all well and good.
I’m feeling better then I’ve
felt in years.
